The Humboldt Bay Symposium is convened approximately every two years to provide the public an opportunity to hear directly from experts about the latest developments on a variety of timely topics related to Humboldt Bay including: scientific research, ecological restoration, sustainable use of natural resources, recreational facilities, and maritime infrastructure and industry.

Please join us for a Wigi networking event and fundraiser for the Frank Shaughnessy Scholarship Fund! CEINC is sponsoring this event to connect bay enthusiasts, share project updates, and gather ideas for the 2027 Humboldt Bay Symposium.

Local eelgrass expert Whelan Gilkerson will share his findings on “Wigi From Above: Fifteen Years of Climate-Driven Change Around the Bay.” The event will also feature a slideshow contributed by Aldaron Laird.
